My Gestation, 7 new souls, Our Future.

Childhood: The first time.

My first memory exists to me so long ago, yet it actually hasn’t even happened and by all accounts may not happen for millennia. Though I’ll never forget that moment, it’s the first time I ever saw the station up close. I was 4 and to me it was enormous, to my Dad it was enormous, it was just enormous! It hung in the sky, under the moon but above the horizon almost connecting the two yet didn’t.  It had taken 419 years to get to this point with the station, it was now considered fully operational. It was designed to resemble the hips, back and head of a human. The head is where most science, habitation, entertainment, and education takes place. “The head” spins at a constant rate so as to give the people inside of it an 80% gravity equivalent living environment. The spine of the station acts just like the name implies it carries all vital gases, liquids, and atomized matter to the required locations. people can travel the length of it and it intersects the ribs. Attached to the spine of the station extending away are the “ribs” these consist of alternating solar arrays, and atomically balanced bi-metallic strips in combination these two devices provide more than enough power for the stations’ production facilities and the ships that dock to it, they extend down 31 levels to the “hips. This is the largest part of the station; it consists of large double layer carbon fibre bags filled with Gasses, Liquids, and Atomized matter surrounded by a wire thin titanium/carbon net. You see the first thing humanity learned in relation to the costs of space travel was, only ever lift gasses. Never take water. Make water. Never take food. Make food. Once they realized that, cargo could be sent to LOE for a reasonable price; it was then compressed into tanks and stored. This has been going on for 400 years they have a lot of resources in space to say the least all stored in the hips of a Giant of a space station named ETERNITY and she was beautiful she was my new home.

I was born on Earth, as ALL humans are. You see for some unknown reason any time any human attempted to conceive, gestate, or birth a human baby in space, extra planetary, or any place other than EARTH. It failed, and it failed miserably usually resulting in the loss of both lives. It was then decided that all pregnancies must be carried to term earthbound. At the moment of realization of conception the mother is to immediately return to earth no matter the mission or situation that she finds herself in. This happened to my mother while working on Eternity in its final few years of construction. Her and my father both led groups of scientist in their respective fields, his being Interstellar transport, and gas electrification manufacturing techniques. My mother’s speciality was the study of energy transfer states as they relate to self-aware energy leaving an orbiting body’s Sphere of influence. Both highly respected fields, in high demand when tooling up to go explore space.  So it was a sad, yet joyous day for my mother’s colleagues when she returned to earth to have a baby. My mother dropped everything having realized she had conceived in LOE, she panicked momentarily, and then thought. She called Global Space Agency (GSA) medical department and they scheduled a pick-up, she informed her colleagues gave her work to the right people to continue it and see it through. My father was last to know, she could barely tell him, it now meant they’d be apart and the only reason they took the jobs here were to be together. She was wrong in that thinking, though he was sad, he was about to be a father, no longer just a man a Father. He helped her pack-up the last of her essentials, and they went to dinner. The stations culinary crew had prepared them a wonderful nutrient rich meal, it was the last meal they would have together for 4 years, not that they wouldn’t see each other just that the busy schedules they now both kept never allowed them to be together long enough to sit down and eat. After that meal my father took my mother to the deportation rib and said his goodbyes. They promised to report to each other their daily progress, and this promise they kept.  When my mother departed on the shuttle she was taken directly to GSA medical post on Earth there she underwent a full examination and determined to be 6 weeks pregnant, at this point of gestation the fetus is forming a viable body but is yet self-aware and therefore, it’s body can be used as a vessel for an existing self-aware person who’s body is failing them do to age. If circumstances prevail that no vessel is required be it family need or kin of man. Also if the circumstance prevails that the current population of Earth is less than 15,421,471,210 then in that instance the developing fetus shall be allowed to achieve self-awareness as a new soul, as was done in the days before population management. This is the situation that my mother and 6 other ladies with child found themselves, they were granted new souls to carry to term, and at 12 weeks I heard my mothers’ heartbeat so I’m told, at that moment a chemical reaction occurred in my still developing brain enveloped in darkness, I heard something not from within but without. At that moment the realization of existence came to my body and the child to be known as Morley began forming, utilizing the energy of the environment around me, provided by my caring mother the music, culture, and enlightenment gathered by every man that came before me played and spoke as I developed in my mother. Her 6 new friends all enjoyed the same benefit, and a sisterhood was formed between them knowing that the opportunity for this many new souls to come to existence at once are now highly improbable. My Father all this time being completely aware of my existence, as told to him daily by my mother was elated and his work excelled he advanced the belief of many under him to a level of understanding equal to his own. This was later beneficial to all humanities space exploration efforts, as the first time we went abroad my father was bound with my training and therefore could not lead the expedition, in his stead the one most like to his belief and understanding lead this mission and success and great discovery were made. My father was never bitter at this fact nor are most man of this time as ``bitter`` is a term used mostly in your time as in mine we take extreme joy in the success of other not in the failure, my father believed in his heart that had he left on that mission the choices made that lead to its realization may not have been made by him. Therefore the result was the only outcome that mattered.
